Typical wire, does what it says on the tin. Be careful initially uncoiling it, be sure to use the slots in the plastic to stick the wire else it may unwind at first. Three wraps at 2.5mm consistently gives me 0.5ohms, haven’t found any defects in the 20ft I’ve purchased.

great for mtl , have used it for a few builds now and this wire is great

I’m new to building coils, this stuff is easy to work with by hand with simple tools. Nothing special 3mm screw driver to wrap for my dual coil Smok baby beast. I did make the mistake of trying Temp Control, poof welded the coil. Kanthal is deffo not meant for TC but I gave it a shot while playing around. Again easy to work with while a learn to build.

First started building about 6 months ago with WireOptim 26 gauge it’s easy to work with. 10 or 11 wraps at 1.6 ohm I get about 1500 puffs before the coil is toast. Steam clean re-wick around 750 puffs. Just trying out 24 gauge, ramp up is slightly slower. I find the thicker wire a bit more forgiving when clamping / centering the coil, wicking. 24-26 is my sweet spot any thinner than that I find too delicate to work with.

I tried this wire at 32g – you cant use it to create a single round coil – its too thin to be locked by the screws of an RDA deck post – so you have to twist it as a pair. When twisted as a pair, its easy to be locked by the deck posts. My build was a 1.37ohm (single coil)- vaped at 15.5 Watts – good enough and lots of flavor. The coil lasts a long time and tastes great when wicked. Good wire.
